January Spotlight: Central Hudson

It is through our partnerships in the community that we are able to continue to serve homeowners in Dutchess County and return them to a warm, safe, and dry environment. Central Hudson has been a loyal supporter of RTDC since our inception in 1992 and whether it is providing a sponsorship team on National Rebuilding Day or supporting our annual golf tournament, we are overwhelmed with their generosity. This year, Central Hudson increased their support in an unexpected way, donating the contents of a house that was scheduled for demolition to us so that we could recuperate the parts for future projects. Sharing this donation with YouthBuild (a Nubian Directions program), we were able to salvage most of the essential parts of the house to use in on future projects to help our neighbors in need. We would like to deeply thank Central Hudson for thinking of us at such a time, and continue to look forward to our continuing partnership for many years to come.
