Comedy Night Success

Our 6th annual comedy night was a huge success. Jimmie Mac and JJ Ramirez left the sold-out crowd of 300 rolling in the aisles with laughter, and Rebuilding Together Dutchess County surpassed our target fundraising goal. Thank you to all who contributed and participated!
The Dutchess Golf and Country Club ensured that everything ran smoothly, and people enjoyed having the dinner at the location as well. "We liked being able to have everyone enjoy a nice meal and socialize at the club beforehand," said Executive Director, Christina Boryk. "Then they could proceed to the comedy portion ready to enjoy the show."

Lead Certification Training

The Adult Learning Institute at Dutchess County BOCES is working with the Department of Health to offer a Lead Safety for Remodeling, Repair & Painting [RRP] class. The dates are February 22 and March 7, and DC BOCES will be offering a significant discount to volunteers for RTDC. 20th Annual Golf Tournament

Rebuilding Together Dutchess County is hosting its 20th Annual Golf Tournament at the Dutchess Golf and Country Club on Thursday, May 24th. The tournament is a scramble format with an 8 a.m. shotgun start.

The funds raised will help support the home renovation programs and services provided to low-income homeowners at no cost to those we serve.

"We are extremely happy and excited to return to the Dutchess Golf and Country Club for the Rebuilding Together Golf Tournament," said Executive Director Christina Boryk. "We are thankful for the longstanding support of the club, our golfers and our sponsors. As we celebrate 20 years of rebuilding communities right here in Dutchess County we also celebrate our milestone year for this fabulous event."

Boryk added that the tournament is made possible through the generous support of local businesses such as EmbroidMe, Meyer Contracting and Dutchess Quarry.
